Bob & Celia Kirkwood Named Honorees for Boys & Girls Club Breakfast Casper, WY

Casper, WY – “Think about the end goal. Every choice you make, your studies, your hobbies, your opportunities, shape where you will end up,” Bob and Celia Kirkwood advise youth. “Make sure the path you are on leads to the life you truly want and do not be afraid to adjust along the way. Remember, God knows best; trust Him.” Grounded in decades of experience in family, business, and community service, the Kirkwoods will be honored at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming’s 28th Annual Awards & Recognition Breakfast.

Married nearly 47 years, Bob and Celia have built a life centered on faith in Christ, family, and community. They have two sons, Michael and Tom, a daughter-in-law, Cassie, and one granddaughter, Josie, who is a special part of their lives. Wyoming has always been home, and they are grateful for the good and kind people who make it such a special place to live and raise a family.

Bob, and his brother, Steve, carry on the family legacy of Kirkwood Oil & Gas, after their father, William, and they continue to lead the company today alongside the next generation. “We would not be where we are today without our employees,” he said. “Their loyalty and dedication over the years have meant everything to our family and our business.”

Celia focused her time raising their family and supporting their sons’ schools. “I have always preferred to work quietly behind the scenes, helping where I can,” she said, reflecting her approach to God, family, work, and community service.

Together, the Kirkwoods have devoted themselves to faith in Christ, strengthening their community, giving generously, and leading by example. Their philosophy emphasizes meeting real needs and building lasting impact through consistent, practical action.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming’s 28th Annual Awards & Recognition Breakfast will take place Wednesday, September 16th, at the Ford Wyoming Center. There is no cost to attend, and guests are encouraged to make a meaningful contribution to support the Club, which serves thousands of youth across 11 sites. Operating on a $5.3 million annual budget, the Club provides mentorship, academic support, scholarships, and opportunities for young people to explore their interests in a safe and supportive environment.
