The WSO's Pops in the Park

The WSO’s 4th Annual Pops in the Park concert will return on August 28 at the Washington Park Bandshell! Join Christopher Dragon and the first full orchestra the WSO has staged in over a year for a night of American classics spanning decades! Your WSO will perform selections from legends such as Louis Armstrong, George Gershwin, and Elvis Presley, and have the pleasure of being joined on stage by the lovely actress and singer Capathia Jenkins, ensuring an unforgettable kick off to the WSO’s 72nd season! Gates open at 5:30pm for concert-goers to lay out a blanket and enjoy a picnic with family and friends. Ticket holders may bring their own food and beverages and everyone’s favorite I'Scream 4 Ice Cream on site.
