During the Second World War, over 16,000 men trained to fly heavy bombers. The training wasn't without risk. Accidents claimed the lives of 138 people by 1945.
Join the WVMM and the Friends of the Wyoming Veterans Museum for an open house exploring the history of the Casper Army Air Base and the lives lost in training.
Visit and explore "Wings of Freedom," our exhibit on the CAAB. At 2 pm, our museum director, John Woodward, will present the base's history.
