Inspire, Engage, Succeed, Lead Annual Banquet 2015 Nomination Deadline

Help the Casper Area Chamber of Commerce identify outstanding businesses and professionals with the Small Business, Large Business, Community Service, Chamber Spirit and Emerging Leader Awards. Nominees will be recognized at the Inspire, Engage, Succeed, Lead Annual Banquet on Friday, May 1, 2015 at Parkway Plaza Hotel & Convention Centre.  

Person of the Year Award-The Person of the Year Award is the highest honor bestowed by the Casper Area Chamber of Commerce.

Individuals will be selected based on the following criteria:

·         Volunteer service to the Casper community and region

·         Volunteer services are considered to be civic enterprises which are non-work related and unpaid

·         Accomplishments in city and area betterment

·         Character as a citizen

·         Civic Trusteeship

 NOMINATE A DESERVING INDIVIDUAL FOR THE PERSON OF THE YEAR AWARD

Small Business of the Year Award-A current Chamber member that exemplifies a strong entrepreneurial spirit and provides a unique culture for our community. (Business cannot exceed a total of 20 full-time employees)

 Business Excellence – Achieved successful business practices, e.g. marketing, promotional activities, and strong ethics. Promotes employee self-growth and development. Makes business contributions to the industry and/or involves business in research and development. Has demonstrated a high level of customer satisfaction, confidence and service.

 NOMINATE A SMALL BUSINESS NOW
 

Large Business of the Year Award- A current Chamber member that has made a great impact on the Casper area with their specialized services and are positively building Casper.

 Business Excellence – Achieved successful business practices, e.g. marketing, promotional activities, and strong ethics. Promotes employee self-growth and development. Makes business contributions to the industry and/or involves business in research and development. Has demonstrated a high level of customer satisfaction, confidence and service.

 NOMINATE A LARGE BUSINESS NOW

Organization of the Year-A not-for-profit organization that exists within the Casper area, such as social service organizations, adult volunteer groups, service clubs, arts organizations, etc. Any group or organization who has fulfilled their mission or goals, has expanded the services they provide to the community and its improvement, has provided the Casper area with leadership for the welfare of its populace. The organization has made a significant contribution of time, skills and resources toward the improvement of the Casper community.

 NOMINATE A NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION FOR THE ORGANIZATION OF THE YEAR AWARD

Chamber Spirit Award- Nominees are highly engaged in the Casper Area Chamber of Commerce and Community. They demonstrate leadership and advocate on behalf of the Chamber daily.

 NOMINATE THE CHAMBER SPIRIT AWARD

Emerging Leader Award- Nominees are highly ambitious young professionals who are instrumental in the Casper community, the Chamber and many community organizations. Young professionals nominated must be between the ages of 21- 40.

 NOMINATE A DESERVING YOUNG PROFESSIONAL FOR THE EMERGING LEADER
 

Community Partner- Individual or business that has volunteered their time and service to an organization, school or community endeavor in the Casper area that has resulted in the advancement of that entity, its mission and/or cause. Must have contributed time and service during the calendar year 2014. Individual or business has made a significant contribution of time, skills and resources toward the improvement of the Casper community

NOMINATE A BUSINESS FOR THE COMMUNITY PARTNER AWARD NOW

 Distinguished Youth-A youth group or individual (21 years or under) who lives, attends school or works in the Casper area. The nominee has demonstrated outstanding achievement in the areas of academics, the arts or athletics. Has received a local, state and/or national award or recognition in one or more of the above endeavors. The nominee has given service and leadership to others in the community on a volunteer basis and serves as a role among peers.

 NOMINATE A DESERVING YOUNG INDIVIDUAL FOR THE DISTINGUISHED YOUTH

Nominees will be announced on March 18, 2015.
