First Day Hike at Edness Kimball Wilkins State Park

Well Folks, it’s hard to believe that the year is almost over. That means the first day hike is just around the corner. For those that don’t know what a first day hike is? It’s Wyoming State Parks Joined together with parks all across the United States to say “Hey life, hey New Year, here I am putting my stamp on a new year in a very special way.” The hike is approximately 2 miles of trail and maybe more if everyone agrees. But reallly what a great way to bring in the New Year! I’d like to get an RSVP list started so that I have a good idea of the door prizes needed and also how much Hot chocolate we’ll need.
