DESCRIPTION:Don't miss Portraits of Dementia\, opening October 20th in the Rosenthal Gallery at The Nicolaysen Art Museum in partnership with Wyoming Dementia Care! The goal of this traveling exhibit\, which features an intimate collection of portraits\, is to destigmatize those living with dementia. To use empathy as a means for connection and understanding. To tell a more complex and complete story of those living with the disease and its effect on their families and loved ones. The opening reception for this exhibit is free of charge and will take place on Friday October 20th at 6PM at The Nicolaysen Art Museum where attendees will be able to get a first look at 'Portraits of Dementia' as well as the annual Here and Now art show\, featuring pieces made by participants of the Here and Now Art Class hosted by Wyoming Dementia Care and The Nicolaysen Art Museum. Drinks and h'ordevres will be served by Occasions by Cory.
