Last year the proceeds totaled over $335\,000 with almost 1000 bowlers participating. This is our largest annual fundraiser. We are hoping for another big turnout and strong support from the business community. Much of the help Jason's Friends provides for families is in the form of financial aid. Our funding comes from grants\, private donations and fundraisers. Run primarily by volunteers\, 95% of the dollars we take in go directly to the families we help. We assist with non-medical expenses including travel expenses such as fuel\, lodging and meals and with household bills such as house/rent payments\, utilities\, groceries and other everyday living expenses while the child is in treatment. Jason's Friends is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. \n\n\n\nThe amount of financial support has grown significantly from our beginnings in 1996. Since our inception\, over $5\,200\,000 has been disbursed by Jason's Friends Foundation to Wyoming families with childhood cancers. We currently have 135 families in our program. THE NEED IS GREAT!\n\n\n\nAnyone can participate in Bowl for Jason's Friends.
